REDDING, Calif. - A large-scale operation aimed at ensuring parole compliance took place in Shasta County on November 14. Dubbed Operation Shasta Shield, the effort involved multiple law enforcement agencies and resulted in 14 arrests.

The Division of Adult Parole Operations (DAPO) led the operation alongside the Community Compliance Unit, Sierra Parole district, and other law enforcement groups. The teams made compliance checks at 22 locations, yielding 28 compliance contacts.

Parole agents focused on individuals required to register as sex offenders, ensuring they met legal and parole conditions. Those found in non-compliance faced arrests for various offenses, including drug-related charges, weapons offenses, and parole violations.
