A mother is pleading for her daughter to come home.

A 10-year-old is missing in Seguin after she said she was going to a friend's house but never showed up.

Her mother told KENS 5 it’s not like her daughter to be missing like this.

“I’m not mad at you, I just want to know you’re okay. Just please text me back," the mother said.

The last time she said her daughter messaged her was Thursday night.

The girl told her mother she was going to be at a friend’s house.

“We checked with the parents, and they have not seen [her name], so she just lied about the whole situation, but she really wasn’t there," the mother said.
