Nebraska football travels to face Penn State in Week 13 of the 2025 college football season.

The Cornhuskers are looking for their first eight-win season since 2016, although it won't be easy against Penn State, even with the Nittany Lions being 4-6 and 1-6 in Big Ten play. Penn State, led by interim coach Terry Smith and redshirt freshman quarterback Ethan Grunkemeyer — starting in place of the injured Drew Allar — defeated Michigan State 28-10 last week after nearly upset No. 2 Indiana the week prior.

The Nittany Lions are also still in contention for a bowl bid, and need to win out vs. the Cornhuskers and Rutgers to make the postseason.

Nebraska, conversely, is without starting quarterback Dylan Raiola, who suffered a season-ending injury against USC. Freshman TJ Lateef was tremendous in his start against UCLA, however, completing 13 of 15 passes for 205 yards with three touchdowns.
