Filming wrapped on the final series of Grantchester last month but the producer of the much-loved series - which is even more popular in the US - has hinted it could be back
The makers of Grantchester revealed they are open to cutting a deal with Netflix, if the streaming giant wants to buy the show beyond its 2027 contract.
Screened on PBS in the US, Grantchester receives its main funding from the MASTERPIECE Mystery! anthology series in the US.
In July, figures revealed it has an audience demand 10 times the average for US shows , placing it in the top 2.7% of all TV shows shown in America.
And writer Daisy Coulam has written an "open ended" finale for the 11th series, meaning it could return.
