MIDLAND, MI – A new fusion restaurant full of flavor has landed in the Midland Mall food court.

Flavors Street, 6800 Eastman Ave., is serving Indian favorites, such as butter chicken and samosas, as well as salads, rice bowls, saucy chicken wings and specialty beverages.

Co-owners Aisha Khan and Muhammad Iqbal came together to bring their vision to the Midland community.

Khan said Iqbal and his wife, Nasra Iqbal, were looking to do something new, and Nasra Iqbal has experience with cooking.

While Khan doesn’t cook, she often thought about starting a café or something like that someday.

One day, the three of them had a conversation about their aspirations, and they decided to go for it.
