Marshall University men’s basketball assistant coach Adam Williams has stepped down from his position, just as the season is getting underway.
Williams announced last Friday on X that he had not been on the Thundering Herd bench recently because he is moving on from coaching and beginning a new career.
“As some of you may have noticed, I have been absent on the Herd bench the last couple of games. Recently, I was presented with an unbelievable opportunity outside of basketball that would allow me to spend the time with my family I have always dreamed of,” Adam Williams posted. “I will always love the Herd! But that love pales in comparison to the love I have for my wife and children.”
Williams had been on staff at Marshall since June of 2022.
