The last rites of the victims of the Madinah bus accident were conducted on the afternoon of November 22 in Madinah, Saudi Arabia, with the ceremonies carried out in full accordance with Islamic traditions. The solemn proceedings drew relatives, community members and officials who came together to honour those who lost their lives in the tragedy.

The Governor of Andhra Pradesh, Justice S. Abdul Nazeer, attended the funeral prayers at the Prophet’s Mosque and later the burial at the revered Jannat-ul-Baqi cemetery. Minister of Minorities Welfare, Govt. of Telangana, Shri Mohammed Azharuddin, India’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Dr. Suhel Khan, and Consul General in Jeddah, Fahad Suri, were also present, standing alongside grieving families and well-wishers as the final rites were performed.
