Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Electoral Officer Dr Rathan U Kelkar on Saturday said that 99.5 per cent of enumeration forms have been distributed across Kerala, with many Booth Level Officers (BLOs) successfully digitising 100 per cent of the forms.

Kelkar noted that around one lakh people have not received forms, mainly due to relocation or being untraceable. He emphasised that language is not a barrier to completing the forms.

“Even forms issued in English have been filled out in other languages in many areas. For individuals who cannot write in Malayalam but know Kannada, the forms were completed in Kannada and returned. Forms in Tamil have also been received from regions including Kumily, Devikulam, Vattavada and Kanthalloor. Therefore, language is not an issue,” he said.
