Bournemouth have revealed that Ben Gannon-Doak has gone under the knife to fix the hamstring injury he suffered at Hampden.
But his Scotland World Cup hopes remain up in the air after the Cherries didn't put a timeline on the wide man's recovery.
It was Gannon-Doak who supplied the cross for Scott McTominay's wonder goal that got Scotland off to the perfect start in their World Cup qualifying showdown with Denmark.
The Bournemouth winger looked to have Patrick Dorgu on toast and was in the mood to do the Danes some damage .
However, Tartan Army hearts were in mouths when he went down clutching his hamstring and had to be stretched off during the first half.
