President Donald Trump took another dig on Truth Social at Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, a longtime ally who drew Trump's ire for supporting legislation to force a vote on releasing the Jeffrey Epstein files. Greene announced Friday evening she'd resign from Congress next year.

Trump referred to Greene, a Georgia Republican, as "Marjorie “Traitor” Brown" in a Truth Social post, where he also said that she would not have received his endorsement in the Republican primary.

"For some reason, primarily that I refused to return her never ending barrage of phone calls, Marjorie went BAD. Nevertheless, I will always appreciate Marjorie, and thank her for her service to our Country!" he said.

Greene was also active on social media hours after announcing her plans to resign from the House in January, a year before her current term ends.

"There are no leaders that will save this country, but YOU, the American people can. If we all stitch our torn and tattered beautiful star spangled banner back together, we can do anything," she said.
