SRINAGAR : A joint team from the 161 Territorial Army Battalion, Ghantamulla, conducted a search operation in the forest area of Darkunjan village in Boniyar, Baramulla district of North Kashmir, on Saturday, recovering an AK-47 rifle along with ammunition. Follow Us On G -N e w s | Whatsapp

Officials said that the Territorial Army team approached Police Station Boniyar with a written docket, stating that the operation resulted in the recovery of one AK-47 rifle, two magazines and fifty-four rounds of AK series ammunition from the forested location. The recovery was made during a routine area search aimed at tracking suspicious movement along the higher reaches of Boniyar.
