A new police appeal has been issued exactly a year on from an unsolved murder after a dad was shot in a car in Birmingham .

Raad Asmael., 27, was discovered with fatal injuries in Rotton Park Road, at the junction of City Road, in Edgbaston , after 11pm on Friday, November 22, last year. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Six men - aged between 21 and 24 - were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder, while two others, aged 25 and 31, were held on suspicion of assisting an offender. Each were bailed pending further inquiries and no-one has been charged over Raad's death.
