WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Ill. (WSIL) -- Deputies with the Williamson County Sheriff's Office have arrested a suspect involved in multiple vehicle thefts and a burglary. The incidents reportedly took place on November 18 and 19, 2025.
The sheriff's office said the suspect is Will Hester. Hester was accused of stealing a vehicle from a parking lot on Lake of Egypt Road and crashed it into a dumpster before fleeing on foot. The next day, authorities said another vehicle, a Lincoln sedan, was reported stolen from Pebble Point Road and later found on Market Road.
The sheriff's office said Hester admitted involvement in both vehicle thefts and evidence was collected during the investigation. Hester was then taken into custody and to the Williamson County Jail.
