Star South Africa batter Tristan Stubbs has said that Kuldeep Yadav’s delivery that got him out beat him in the drift, as he went on to laud the latter’s brilliant display on Day 1 of the second Test in Guwahati, which saw Kuldeep being the pick of the Indian bowlers.

Stubbs had already launched two sixes off Kuldeep and was just one run shy of his half-century when the latter tossed one up, letting it drift through the air before turning off the track.

Stubbs moved his hands towards the delivery without any foot movement, resulting in a regulation catch for KL Rahul at first slip.
