SHREVEPORT, La. - Two men who were shot and killed while driving on the Clyde Fant Memorial Parkway early this week have been identified by the Caddo Parish Coroner's Office.

Frederick Kiprono, 43, and Tatum Ashley, 18, were shot Wednesday just before 6:45 p.m.

Kiprono was driving an Uber vehicle northbound on the Parkway, just past East Preston Avenue, when he was shot. Ashley, who was one of two passengers in the vehicle, was also shot and killed. Both men were pronounced dead at the scene.

The deaths mark the 34th and 35th confirmed homicides in Shreveport so far in 2025. With six additional confirmed homicides in the parish outside the city, the overall confirmed total for Caddo Parish is 41.
