A dose of sea air, a portion of fish and chips and a dusting of sparkles can only mean Strictly Come Dancing is in Blackpool for its annual special. The much-loved programme's next live show will air live from the seaside town in what is considered the 'home of ballroom dancing', the Blackpool Tower Ballroom.

It is often a goal to make it to week nine in the competition for the couples, as it falls before the grand final in just a few weeks' time. And it was during the latest results show last Sunday night (November 16) that the seven couples set to make the jaunt up north were confirmed.
