Emergency services descended on the M53 this morning after a crash. Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service were called to the scene, between junction three and four of the M53 in Storeton on Saturday November 22.
The fire service was alerted at 10.49am and arrived four minutes later with two fire engines and the search and rescue team. When they arrived, they found it was a crash involving two cars. The sole occupant of one vehicle was able to leave the car unaided and was assessed by North West Ambulance Service (NWAS).
NWAS paramedics then took the person to hospital for further observations. The slip road from the roundabout leading to Wallasey and Liverpool was closed off by police.
