New England Patriots rookie wide receiver Kyle Williams finally broke out in the team’s Week 10 upset vs. the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, hauling in a 72-yard touchdown pass from Drake Maye.
The third-round pick followed the effort up with arguably the worst game of his first season in Week 11 vs. the New York Jets, however, failing to catch any of his career-high three targets.
Patriots reporter Andrew Callahan of the Boston Herald revealed “ 53 thoughts on the Patriots’ 53 active players ” on Saturday morning, saying that he wouldn’t be surprised if Williams is inactive for the first time this year in the near future.
