Telemundo turned its lens toward Oregon with an evening broadcast this week focusing on the fears and concerns raised by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrests in Hillsboro.

Julio Vaqueiro, a reporter and anchor for the national Spanish language network, interviewed residents and a city councilor in the Washington County suburb, as well as in Charlotte, North Carolina, for a report that dominated a 25-minute broadcast that aired Monday evening.

The broadcast contained bystander footage of ICE officers shattering car windows and taking people into custody, as a woman cried out “La migra está aquí” and whistles blew in the background.
