Folks who stopped in recently at Raising Cane’s in Athens, Georgia might have thought they were seeing things, but … nope, that was in fact country music star Megan Moroney slinging chicken boxes behind the counter.

Of course, per Whiskey Riff , many of Moroney’s fans knew she was slated to appear that the location about 24 hours in advance, and some even drove from as many as six hours to get a chance to see her. And Raising Cane’s rolled out the red carpet for the star to celebrate the impending release of her new album, “Cloud 9.”

In fact, according to Whiskey Riff, the restaurant went full “Cloud 9,” decorating the restaurant in pink and sparkles. The singer reportedly greeted her fans by signing autographs, taking selfies and handing out Raising Cane’s gift cards. But she didn’t
