BROOKLYN (WABC) -- One of the most spectacular light displays of the holiday season officially made its return to New York City.

The Brooklyn Botanic Garden flipped the switch on for its annual "Lightscape" show on Friday night.

This year, the winter light show features a redesigned, mile-long trail that transforms the garden into an enchanted forest. The show boasts 19 distinct installations, all of them highlighting the beauty of the garden during winter.

There will also be a curated soundtrack for the show, as well as special dining and drinking attractions for visitors.
