Fowler volleyball captures its first-ever state title with a sweep over Mendon

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (WILX) - Fowler volleyball made program history on Saturday morning in Battle Creek with a 3-0 victory over Mendon.

The Eagles took down the Hornets 30-28 in the first set after a battle to start out the match.

Fowler then proceeded to take the second set 25-19 and was just one set away from winning the state final.

The Eagles closed it out with a 25-22 victory in the third set to capture Fowler’s first ever Division 4 volleyball state title.
