The National Weather Service issued an updated dense fog advisory at 9:48 a.m. on Saturday in effect until 11 a.m. for Lower Columbia Basin of Oregon and Foothills of the Northern Blue Mountains of Oregon.
"Visibility one-quarter mile or less in dense fog," can be anticipated according to the weather service. "Along the Foothills of the Northern Blue Mountains of Oregon, dense fog is expected to remain confined to the Oregon side of the Walla Valley with little to no fog farther south towards Pendleton."
"Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous," explains the weather service. "If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you."
