When people discuss trips to Dublin, they always say how expensive it is Which is true, it is definitely costly. However, there are ways of making it an affordable and great city break this winter.

At this time of year, Dublin is lit up and all decked out ready for Christmas . There's plenty of opportunities to do some Christmas shopping, go for some chilly park walks and listen to live music in the dozens of pubs. I've now been to Dublin three times, all of which were during the festive period and all for a low price.
