Showers will end across central Pennsylvania by early Saturday afternoon, giving way to partial clearing with temperatures near normal for late November.

A weak weather system passing to the north on Sunday will bring gusty winds of 25 to 35 mph to the region, with potential for light rain or snow showers across northern counties during the afternoon.

The Harrisburg area , however, is expecting sunshine Sunday, with a high temperature in the mid-50s.

Monday will be more of the same before rain returns Tuesday into Wednesday.

The most significant weather pattern arrives for the Thanksgiving holiday, as a strong cold front will usher in much colder air, winds exceeding 30 mph and the potential for lake-effect snow in parts of Pennsylvania.
