Amazon has slashed the price of the PlayStation Sony 5 Digital Edition by a substantial 33% during the Black Friday sale.

Previously listed at £429.99 on Amazon, customers can now purchase the 'digital' PS5 for £289.

The 'standard' version is also discounted by 21%, bringing the price down to £379 from £479.99, reports Devon Live .

The digital version doesn't include a disc drive and can only play games downloaded from the PlayStation Store or through other digital platforms. The 'standard' version features a disc drive.
