A Spennymoor pub has issued a statement after a early hours incident sparked a 19-hour police presence.
The Quinn's Inn on the High Street was at the centre of CSI investigations this evening after an incident at the pub in the early hours of this morning (Saturday, November 22).
A police cordon was erected with a uniformed officer posted at the front of the pub.

The cordon remained in place for 19 hours but the pub said in a Facebook post it reopened at 7.45pm this evening, Crime scene investigators were pictured putting evidence boxes in a marked van a short time earlier at 7pm.
