Pima Community College briefly issued a shelter-in-place order for its Downtown Campus Friday morning as Tucson Police investigated a shots-fired call nearby, according to PCC officials.
The alert went out at 10:47 a.m. as a precaution, PCC said. The incident prompting the response happened off campus and involved TPD officers working in the area.
The shelter-in-place was lifted at 11:30 a.m., and all campus activities resumed.
