Both the Bears and Steelers had lengthy injury and game status reports following Friday’s practices.
However, Pittsburgh has updated its report on Saturday, removing the “questionable” tags for veteran defenders Cam Heyward and Darius Slay — they should be good to go on gameday.
Quarterback Aaron Rodgers remains questionable for Pittsburgh while outside linebacker Alex Highsmith is still doubtful. The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette’s Gerry Dulac reported Saturday that Highsmith is “not expected to play.”
The Bears also updated their injury report, moving top cornerbacks Kyler Gordon and Jaylon Johnson from “questionable” to “out” — both are currently on injured reserve but were questionable to play after practicing this week.
The Bears have the sixth-worst defense in the NFL this year in yard
