The Lumen Christi will play in a state championship game for the 18th time, and will play for a 15th title, after its 25-19 triple overtime win over Almont on Saturday in the state semifinal.

The Titans are tied with Farmington Hills Harrison for the most title-game trips.

The teams traded scores in the second quarter, with Benny Gaston taking it in from a yard out for the Titans. In the third quarter the Raiders took the lead on a Jacob Stewart touchdown, but Lumen Christi answered in the fourth with a one-yard Sean Walicki touchdown run.

Gaston found Johnny Walters for a 10-yard touchdown pass in overtime, only for Almont to answer with a Stewart one-yard run.
