Strictly Come Dancing fans have pointed out ‘how much better would it be’ as they issued a major demand after La Voix was forced out of the BBC dancing competition through injury.

Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman began the annual Blackpool edition of the programme, filmed live from the Tower Ballroom, by informing viewers that they had some bad news to announce.

After previously being given a bye through Blackpool as a result of injury, it was confirmed that drag queen La Voix is fully withdrawing from the programme following advice from medics.

The drag queen, whose non-performer name is Chris Dennis, was competing on the programme with fan favourite professional dancer Aljaz Skorjanec.
