Aaron Paul is saying “Bonjour” to an exciting new chapter.

The Breaking Bad alum revealed he and his family made the decision to move out of Los Angeles earlier this year following the devastating wildfires that ravaged through the city in January.

“When the fires happened in LA, we knew that we were done with LA,” he told the Daily Mail in an interview published Nov. 21. “So we sold our house in LA and moved to Paris.”

Indeed, the Emmy winner and his wife Lauren Parsekian Paul —who share kids Story , 7, and Ryden —were not among those whose homes were destroyed by the blaze, but the disaster led them to make some big changes in their life. And while he noted that he’s still working on his French, he couldn’t be happier with his decision.
