OREFIELD, Pa. -- Jaindl Turkey Farm in Orefield, Lehigh County, is preparing for Thanksgiving.

Fred and John L. Jaindl started the farm back in 1933 with only five turkeys. Now, the farm produces 800,000 turkeys every year.

Most of those turkeys are being processed and sold right now, leading up to the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.

Jaindl has been chosen for nearly 50 years by the National Turkey Federation to provide the turkeys that grace the Holiday table at the White House.

As a fully integrated farm, Jaindl breeds, hatches, raises, and processes all its own turkeys, and grows the grains that feed them throughout the year.
