ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — A train and a car collided near a busy area in Marietta on Saturday afternoon.

The city told Atlanta News First that everyone is okay. The incident happened on Waverly Way, a block away from Marietta Square.

City leaders say the driver of the car is also okay. Because of protocol, the train must remain in place until an inspector arrives, so if you’re headed along Waverly Way, you may want to take a different route.
