On the last weekend before Thanksgiving, a Frederick church teamed up with several charitable organizations to give hundreds of local families something to be thankful for this year.

Members of Asbury United Methodist Church in Frederick worked with volunteers from Helping Hands and Caring Hearts and Waterboyz for Jesus to distribute turkeys and fixings for Thanksgiving dinners to several hundred people Saturday.
