MANCHESTER, N.H. —
You can almost feel the joy of skiers hitting the slopes for the very first time this season.
“I couldn’t have asked for a better day, weather’s really good here with my friends,” said James Faulkner, avid skier. “Good vibes, it’s fun.”
A welcome surprise as several mountains opened at least a week early and early for the first time in a long time.
“2019 was the last time we opened this early, so we are pretty excited,” said Jennifer Karan of Cannon Mountain.
At Cannon Mountain, eight out of 98 trails opened Saturday and at Loon Mountain, they were able to open fifteen trails and two lifts on Friday.
