LANSING, Mich. (WILX) -A 44-year-old man is recovering after being shot Saturday afternoon in Lansing

Officers responded to the report of a shooting victim in the 1500 block of Ballard Street at approximately 3:45 p.m., police said. On arrival, officers located the man with an apparent gunshot wound.

The Lansing Fire Department transported the victim to a local hospital, where he is expected to survive.

At this time, officials do not know what caused the shooting or who all is involved.
