Imphal, November 22 2025: Ex-MP (Outer Manipur) Dr Lorho S Pfoze who joined National People's Party (NPP) a few months back has been appointed president of the party's State unit.

NPP National president and Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma issued a notification to this effect today.

MLAs Sheikh Noorul Hassan, Thongam Shanti and Janghemlung Panmei have been appointed working presidents of NPP Manipur unit.

The same notification has appointed MLA Khuraijam Loken as the party's chief whip.

A copy of the order whereby Khuraijam Loken was appointed the NPP Manipur's chief whip has also been forwarded to Manipur Legislative Assembly Speaker Th Satyabrata.
