Florida football announced Urban Meyer's induction into the Ring of Honor at the end of the first quarter on Nov. 22 against No. 20 Tennessee.

Meyer received a loud ovation from the sellout crowd at The Swamp as he was honored on the field for his induction into the College Football Hall of Fame. Shortly after that honor, the public address system announced that Meyer will be inducted into the Ring of Honor during a home game next season.

The 61-year-old Meyer took the microphone to address the crowd following the announcement, thanking players and coaches.

"But most of all, I want to thank Gator Nation," Meyer said. "Go Gators."

Meyer was the head coach for the Florida Gators from 2005-10, posting an overall record of 65-15 and a SEC mark of 36-12. In six seasons, Meyer guided the
