Florida football defensive back Cormani McLain left the Gators’ matchup against Tennessee with an injury on Saturday, Nov. 22.
The injury happened after the redshirt sophomore tackled Tennessee’s Jack Van Dorselaer on a 6-yard reception late in the first quarter with Florida trailing 14-0. The Lakeland, Fla., native went into the medical tent to have his left leg evaluated.
McClain has registered 17 tackles and an interception this season.
Florida started the game down a total of 13 players. The secondary is also without Micheal Carraway Jr., Dijon Johnson, Aaron Gates and most recently Bryce Thornton, who was listed as a game time decision, but did not dress out.
