My Hero Academia might be the best series in general at including a wide array of profound villains who are almost too relatable, making them feel almost too real.
There are a ton of amazing villains in anime, and they're defined as amazing through a couple of undeniable qualities. To be truly evil, a villain needs to be capable of great harm. They also need to be competent, harmful, and menacing, and this villain from My Hero Academia is all three and more.
