An icon in the professional wrestling business has made his unannounced return to AEW. Former WWE star Paul Wight appeared during the "Full Gear 2025" pre-show to serve as a guest commentator. Wight made his entrance prior to a tag team match between Boom and Doom and RPG Vice.

Wight, who was known as the Big Show during his time with WWE, hadn't made an appearance on AEW TV since late 2024, which was also for "Full Gear." Back in May, Wight told Bill Apter that not only was he still a part of the AEW team, but he was also quite happy about it.
