Looking to play in the Class 3A football title game for the third time in the past four years, Cascade Christian was surgical on Saturday. The Challengers didn’t give Gervais an inch, rolling to a 36-0 victory in the state semifinals at Cottage Grove High School.
Of Cascade Christian’s seven offensive drives, five of them ended with touchdowns for the Challengers.
Deryk Farmer led the way for Cascade Christian, completing 11 of 20 passes for 165 yards and two touchdowns. He also carried the ball 10 times for a team-high 93 yards.
