JACKSON, Mich. (WILX) -On Saturday, thousands of collectors gathered at the American One Event Center for the Ultimate Collectors Expo.

The event allowed people to sell and shop for anything from toys to sports memorabilia.

Former Detroit Tiger Darrell Evans was also at the event and signed autographs. He shared why he likes attending these types of events.

“I came to the show because I love doing these things, but in particular, I love doing anything in Michigan. It’s my favorite place,” Evans said. “They are the best fans in the world, and you know I don’t say that lightly. I know they are. I’ve been around so many places, pretty much everywhere, and the people here treat their sports teams like no other place.”
