Longtime sports fans have witnessed a wide range of wild mascot-related mishaps and incidents over the years. But what happened to Mr. C before the Vanderbilt Commodores-Kentucky Wildcats game on Saturday was especially terrifying.
During ESPN’s broadcast of the game, the cameras cut to Mr. C driving an ATV through muddy conditions. Mr. C lost control of the vehicle and had to jump off as it flipped over, but thankfully avoided a serious injury during the mishap:
