LSU defeated Western Kentucky 13-10 Saturday night in Tiger Stadium to wrap up the home schedule for the season.
Here's what we learned as the Tigers improved to 7-4 with one game remaining:
1. Un-offensive
LSU’s streak of not scoring more than 25 points against an FBS opponent is still alive and scuffling. The Tigers did manage a decent 328 yards total against a Western Kentucky team allowing 23 points and 400 yards per game, again working with backup quarterback Michael Van Buren behind an already challenged offensive line that lost two starters Saturday. Still, there’s little excuse to be this unproductive against a mid-major team like the Hilltoppers.
