FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A historic season for Fresno Pacific Volleyball has earned them a spot in the NCAA Division II tournament.
The Sunbirds earned their spot after winning the Pac-West championship against Point Loma, which went all the way to five sets.
Fresno Pacific would get the win after a 27-point final set.
The Sunbirds head into the postseason as both regular-season and conference tournament champions, to go with a plethora of conference honors announced on Wednesday.
In her second season, head coach Kelsee Montagna was named Coach of the Year.
Fresno State transfer Mikayla Weiss walked away with Setter of the Year and Madelyn Feramisco earned Freshman of the Year.
