Good evening Mid-Missouri, it has been a busy and gloomy weather week! As we speak, a cold front is beginning to push into the region. While this cold front will not be bringing any drastic changes to our temperatures, it will combine with high pressure pushing in from the southwest to give us some Sunday morning fog.
Tonight:
Temperatures will drop to near 40 degrees with cloud cover slowly pushing out of the region. As sky conditions begin to clear, calm winds combined with warm air trapped aloft and moist dewpoints at the surface will allow for the development of fog. late night/ early morning fog looks to be widespread through the region with some patches of dense fog possible.
Sunday:
Chilly morning temperatures along with patchy dense fog will make holiday travel conditions less
