CANYON, Texas (KFDA) - West Texas A&M honored five volleyball players as the Lone Star Conference presented its annual postseason awards.

Taytum Stow, a senior middle blocker, earned Lone Star Conference Defensive Player of the Year honors for the third time. The recognition makes Stow only the second player in conference history to claim the award three times.

The Lady Buffs placed three players on the All-LSC First Team. Stow earned first-team recognition along with Currie Marusak and Emma Becker.

Kaycee Cavanaugh received Second Team honors, and sophomore Bromli Watson was selected for Honorable Mention.

Two Lady Buffs received academic recognition. Stow and Marusak earned spots on the Academic All-Lone Star Conference Team for their classroom performance.
