LSU linebacker Kenzel Kelly , the son of former LSU football coach Brian Kelly , had a unique message for the camera when he was announced on Senior Night Saturday against Western Kentucky.

Kenzel ran out on the field, held up his senior commemorative football and pointed to the field crew.

“Long live BK,” Kenzel said , as he revealed his undershirt had the initials “BK” written on it.

On Oct. 26, LSU announced it “separated” from Brian Kelly after a 5-3 start to the 2025 season. On Friday, the school formally sent a letter to Brian informing him that he has been fired. The move came in response to Kelly filing a lawsuit against the LSU board, as the two sides could not agree on buyout terms.
